Our annual Farming for the Future Conference is about building community. Each year, we bring together farmers, processors, consumers, students, environmentalists and business and community leaders to share ideas, eat good food and have a great time. But the community building begins long before the conference center opens its doors. It starts at home, especially when you meet up with your neighbors and travel together.
We've teamed up with SpaceShare to help you expand your conference experience beyond the walls of the Penn Stater using their Ride-Sharing, Room-Sharing, Flight-Matching and Host-Guest-Matching service.

Search for a match:

Carpool. Need a ride? Have a seat to fill? Connect with other conference-goers while reducing the number of cars on the road.
Traveling by plane, train or bus? See who else is leaving from your city. Perhaps you can talk farming while you fly together. Or meet someone at the airport upon arrival to share a taxi.
Find a roomie! Save money by searching for a hotel roommate.
Homestays Can you host an out-of-town traveler? Are you looking for a place to stay? SpaceShare will help you connect.

It's easy to find your ride, flight or accommodation partners: just sign in here, quickly describe your needs, and our search program will sort other people's posts to help you find the best match. Treat this page and the next like you would a paper form, you hand them to us, and then we show you the possible matches, and we hold on to your information for people who sign up later.

Your email is needed so other participants can contact you, and we sometimes send a follow-up questionnaire asking how well the site is working for you. Your email will be used anonymously: other users will not see your email, but our server will send their message to you. We use your email address only for participation in the event you sign up for: we will not distribute your email to anyone else, nor even put you on our own monthly mailing list unless you "opt-in" and ask us to. We believe you should be able to look for a carpool without getting on any permanent email lists.
