New Volunteer Coordinator
greetings spacesharers!
This is my first transmission as volunteer coordinator of spaceshare! whoa! I have been lurking on the spaceshare email list for two years, when stephen put out the call for a volunteer coordinator a couple of months ago, i was just completing a year long stint as volunteer coordinator for another non-profit.
SpaceShare's new volunteer coordinator Saralynn, a volunteer herself, is ready to take the SpaceShare community to the next level. Show her some love by taking our simple survey (on our community site -- it will ask you to sign in). What do you hope to get out of SpaceShare? What do you wish to contribute?
Contributing my skills to a righteous cause like spaceshare -- skills in talking to people, helping volunteers through new tasks and congratulating them on a job well done -- was obvious for me.
Do you want to help spaceshare? I want to figure out how to best get you involved! Tell me about your strengths and skills, tell me about what you want to get better at. I will tell you in what ways spaceshare needs your help.
