East Bay Religious Congregations

SpaceShare is now building a carpool system and neighbor-matching community-building website for a religious congregation in the East Bay: the First Congregational Church of Berkeley.

We're particularly looking for a large congregation. While we think that people doing things in their neighborhood so they don't have to drive is generally a great idea, for this prototype it makes sense for us to work with a large church where people do drive significant miles.

This system is being funded by a generous and wonderful grant from Oaklandish, with the hope of building a prototype that can become national. So the congregation will not need to fund it, but will need to be excited to draw attention and encourage sharing.
