Where dumpster diving is a dance of freegans around the waste of accidental-participants, SpaceShare is trying to draw everyone into the dance. We aim to find easy ways for people to take at least a first step out of the cycle of consumerism: whenever communities come together, we provide tools so people can rely on their community more and resources less. We work with event planners at festivals, conferences, and soon churches, synagogues, mosques and colleges, to help people share. We need volunteers and partners to grow, it's a "do it ourselves" effort to transform the transportation system of North America!
