Environmental and Cultural Sustainability Event at UCB May 2nd and 3rd, 2008

Resource Green, (a local community coalition that works on environmental education), would like to invite you to participate in our search for meaning through cultural and environmental sustainability. Art, Earth, and Each Other is a cultural and environmental awareness event that includes local artists and musicians, green business, organizations, and student groups, keynote environmental speakers, and the greater Bay Area community.

The goals of the show are threefold:
1. To raise awareness about some of the most critical and complex issues of our time.
2. To provide a pubic venue to showcase local artists and allow likeminded individuals to network with each other.
3. To raise funds for environmental nonprofits.

When: May 2nd and 3rd, 2008

We are planning the event for the first week of this May. It will be a two day event:
-Day 1, May 2nd:
Oakland Art Murmur Walk (Monthly opening of a collection of Oakland art galleries.)
Located at Telegraph and 23rd St. from 7-9:30 pm
Event will include: live music, art exhibition, fashion show, informational booths.
-Day 2, May 3rd:
Art, Earth, & Each other Main Event and Auction
Located at UC Berkeley on Memorial Glade, from 3- 8:30 pm
Event will include: live music, art exhibition, informational booths, film, food/beverages, live demonstration/performance.

Please join us in the celebration of what will undoubtedly be one of Berkeley’s most innovative and exciting events! Entrance prices will be $5.00 for students and pre-sale tickets, $7.00 for adults, and $2.00 for children.
